The 40th annual Holiday Look
In Home Tour and Boutique will be held on Saturday, December 1st,
and Sunday, December 2nd from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, both days.
Tickets for the 2007 event are available
now through the event for $30. You may purchase them at the Pasadena
Civic Auditorium box office located at 300 East Green Street,
Pasadena, or at The Pasadena Senior Center, 85 East Holly Street,
ample parking within a one block area of Raymond and Holly.
First established by
The Women’s Committee of the Pasadena Symphony Association
in 1967, the Look In has become a must-see event for those seeking
inspiration, guidance and truly fresh ideas – all greenery, berries
and flowers utilized by the florists are the real thing! – before they
embark upon decorating their own homes for the holidays.
"We have people who have planned their holiday seasons around the Look
In for years and years," confides Nicole Sokolow, Women’s Committee
Member and. "And, though I always think it isn't possible, the homes
somehow seem to get lovelier and lovelier each year."
The Women’s Committee is looking
forward once again to bringing together people interested in fine
architecture, well-cared for homes, beautifully decorated interiors,
complements of exquisite flower arrangements and lovingly tended
gardens. As in the past several years, a Holiday Boutique of quality
arts and crafts will be featured where complimentary refreshments will
be served. The boutiques will showcase many wonderful vendors, who
donate 25% of their sales to the Women’s Committee.
Our highly successful Holiday Look In
was recently recognized by the American Symphony Orchestra League as a
model fundraiser and was featured in the ASOL Gold Book
Of course, the entire event is a
celebration of music!
Musicians play in the homes and at our Boutique.
Proceeds from the Holiday Look In benefit The Pasadena Symphony
concerts and music education programs for children. Over the years our
event has raised over $2.4
million for The Pasadena Symphony.
