Celebrating Mexico
Maestro Jorge Mester and The Pasadena Symphony open the 2008-09 season with a celebration of Mexico’s classical repertoire: Chávez’ Sinfonia India (Symphony No. 2), Nevin’s Concerto for Mariachi & Orchestra (Pasión Mexicana), Revuelta’s rousing La Noche de los Mayas, and Moncayo’s Huapango.
